Episode XI: In Which We Discuss Mindfulness and Looking to the Future

“All his life has he looked away…to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing.”

“Keep your concentration here and now where it belongs.”

“Master Yoda says I should be mindful of the future…”

“But not at the expense of the moment.”

In this episode, I talk about my need to always look to the twin sunset, to get off of Tatooine, and how I miss the present moment while it speeds by. The future is always in motion, yet I like to think it’s set in stone.

I recount the Jedi Code, using some concepts from Eastern religion to dissect whether living in the present is always a good thing, or if we need to be in the future occasionally.

  1. Am going to dig into these.

Please note-I saw a quick fix item on the page, in yellow below…”here” instead of “hear…”
