Scene it on Friday – ROTS Scene #186

Hmmm.  Hmmmmm.  What can I possibly write about this?

A DC0052 Intergalactic Speeder was a vehicle used by the Jedi.  It’s not very large and apparently only 16 of them were kept by the Jedi High Council.

So if we were piecing together a mystery, we know the person who visited Padmé’s apartment had to be one of 12 Jedi’s on the Jedi Council.  The only likely people, in my eyes, would be Anakin (who, as we remember, is part of the Jedi council now, though not a Master), Obi-Wan, Yoda, or Mace Windu.  I throw Mace and Yoda in there because they are close to Obi-Wan, who is close to Anakin, and they may have figured out Anakin’s relationship with Padmé.  Plus Yoda always seems to know almost everything, even if he might not let that on.

My intuition would go with Anakin or Obi-Wan, but I almost want to discount Anakin because I feel like it would not be smart of him to go to her apartment in a Jedi vehicle.  What reason would a Jedi have for being at a Senator’s apartment?  Especially if there are no assignments currently related to her.  If questioned, what would he say?  It would be better for him to sneak in or use a vehicle less recognizable.

So that leaves Obi-Wan as the most likely candidate.  Anakin is still a strong choice, but Obi-Wan makes more sense.  He has nothing to hide by arriving in the Intergalactic and would have a reason for being there.

It turns out I’m right (duh, of course I am).  Mystery solved!  Wouldn’t I make a great detective?

Sigh.  I need some better Scene it on Friday’s.
